Utilities operating under stringent regulations need assurance that a circulating fluidized bed coal fired power plant will meet emissions and reliability targets from day one.
ZOZEN Boiler’s CFB solutions are engineered to comply with, and often surpass, tight limits on SO2, NOx, and particulate matter. The technology’s moderate combustion temperature and staged air inherently suppress thermal NOx, while in-furnace limestone injection captures sulfur before it reaches downstream eq...
The debate on banning coal focuses on balancing environmental goals and energy needs. At ZOZEN Boiler, we believe the solution lies in clean coal technologies rather than an outright ban.
1. Environmental ConcernsCoal combustion releases CO₂, SO₂, and particulates. To address this, ZOZEN integrates low-NOx combustion, multi-stage dust collection, and optional desulfurization into our industrial coal boilers, helping clients achieve sustainable production.
2. Industrial Energy DemandIn many reg...
According to the differences in fuel and structure, industrial thermal oil heaters are mainly divided into the oil/gas-fired thermal oil heater and coal/biomass-fired thermal oil heater. The basic configurations of the thermal oil boiler system generally are as follows.
The food processing needs the steam or hot water to assist the production and improve the efficiency. Usually, the food plant needs the small tonnage boiler, so the coal-fired boiler is not recommended.
Percussive sounds ("banging," "hammering," or "knocking") and vibrations in boiler drums or pipes are serious operational anomalies that demand immediate attention. At ZOZEN, we engineer our coal-fired boilers (like the SZL water-tube and DZL fire-tube series) to minimize these risks, but they can still arise due to operational or system issues. Here are the primary causes and ZOZEN's approach to mitigation:

During the ignition and operation of the chamber combustion boiler fueled by pulverized coal, oil or combustible gas, improper operation can cause the deflagration or secondary combustion in the furnace or flue gas duct, which can further cause the increased pressure in the furnace. When the pressure reaches a certain value, the explosion-proof door is necessary to open automatically to protect the furnace wall of the boiler.
In the whole drying process, we should pay attention to gradually increasing the temperature instead of burning by raging fire; regularly checking boiler's water level and keeping it within the normal range; keeping the flame balanced in the furnace. In addition, we also should properly open the drainage valve and maintain the water level, regularly record the flue gas temperature to control the rise of temperature and high temperature and keep the temperature within the normal range. In general, under these conditions, boiler’s drying quality can be ensured.
The pollution discharge of the biomass-fired boiler is less than the coal-fired boiler. It is also necessary to deal with the exhaust gas of the biomass-fired boiler to meet the national standards before boiler ignition and operation.
