12 million kcal YQL series gas-fired vertical thermal oil heater project for fine chemical industry

Because of the characteristics of high temperature and low pressure, the thermal oil heater becomes an important piece of equipment of the fine chemical industry. Wuhai Shilian Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was established in April 2018. With a total investment of 320 million yuan, the company was a reorganization of Wuhai Black Cat Sanxing Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. After sufficient market research and technical demonstration, Wuhai Shilian decided to re-plan the product structure of the original company and invest a 20,000-tons-per-year phenol series products technology transformation project including 10,000 tons annual output of resorcinol, which is mainly used for rubber adhesives.

According to the boiling point of resorcinol, steam boilers could not meet the heating requirements. Therefore, Wuhai Shilian decided to purchase a set of thermal oil heater to provide sufficient heat for the product distillation process of the resorcinol production line. After having an in-depth understanding of the actual requirements of the customer, ZOZEN customized the YQL series gas-fired thermal oil heater system for Wuhai Shilian. The system adopts a waste heat boiler to recycle the high temperature flue gas and provide steam for production and heating, which further improves the fuel utilization rate and ensures that the overall thermal efficiency of the heater reaches up to 95%. Meanwhile, this series of thermal oil heater is easy to operate, which has realized automatic operation. Besides, various interlock protection functions are equipped to ensure the safety. When the project is put into operation, ZOZEN thermal oil heater will become a reliable thermal source of the resorcinol distillation process.
