How to deal with gas smell in the boiler room of a gas-fired boiler?

If you smell gas, don't use electrical switches, telephones, or any appliances that may cause sparks. Firstly, you should shut off the gas valve, open the doors and windows to circulate the air. Then you should seek for professional help:

(1) Check the air pressure of the expansion tank;

(2) Check the operation condition of exhaust fan and circulating water pump;

(3) Check if the position of the ignition induction needle is normal, and if the surface area is severely burned. If the carbon deposits cannot be removed, the ignition induction needle should be replaced;

(4) Check if there are carbon deposits at burner flame holes and check if there are carbon deposits or dirt on the main heat exchanger;

(5) Check if the control device and safety protection device are normal, and if the operation keys can be used normally;

(6) Check if the water pump is stuck by impurities deposited in the water due to long-term shutdown.
