What are the advantages and disadvantages of the chain grate boiler?

Advantages:
Chain grate is a kind of better combustion equipment in layer combustion furnace. Compared with gas-fired boilers on the market, the solid fuel used in chain grate boiler does not need pipeline laying, and the cost is relatively low. Moreover, the chain grate boiler system is simple, and the manufacturing cost and operating cost are relatively low.

Disadvantages:
The chain grate boiler has a limit on the coal types. The combustion mode of the chain grate is moving hearth combustion, which belongs to limited ignition. It requires manual operation to stir the fire, and requires high quality of coal, so it is not suitable for burning coal with high moisture content, ash content and strong coking property.
　　
Poor control of flue gas pollution. The combustion mode of the layer leads to local high temperature, which is easy to produce nitrogen oxides, and the sulfur fixation technology in the combustion process cannot be adopted. However, the desulfurization treatment before and after the fuel requires high investment cost and high process cost.
