What are the common faults and treatment methods of gas-fired thermal oil heaters?

There are mainly two kinds of faults of gas-fired thermal oil heaters: ignition failure and boiler inoperation.

1) Ignition failure

The ignition failure of gas-fired thermal oil heaters has something to do with the gas pipeline, ignition solenoid valve and wiring. These are common reasons. For specific inspection, the ignition solenoid valve can be removed, and then power on to check. The gas pipeline must be unblocked.

2) Boiler inoperation

The boiler inoperation of gas-fired thermal oil heaters is related to the flame detector, fuel and air ratio, and incorrect position of flame plate.

The maintenance of gas-fired thermal oil heaters:

1) Oil draining. When the gas-fired thermal oil heater is not in use, all the heat medium oil should be discharged to clean the inside of boiler for avoiding other impurities occurring in the boiler.

2) Component inspection. The components of gas-fired thermal oil heaters should be regularly checked to see if there is any looseness, and the boiler should be maintained before being stored.
