According to the length of the boiler shutdown time, there are different maintenance methods as follows:

1) Pressure maintenance method. If the boiler is shut down for the short-term maintenance, it should take the pressure maintenance measure to drain the boiler water, clean the boiler fouling, wash the boiler and add water, heat the boiler steadily and keep the water temperature maintaining at 10℃.

2) Wet maintenance method. If the hot water water is shut down for more than one month, it should take the wet maintenance measure to drain the boiler water, clean the boiler fouling, close all the inlets and valves, and finally put the protective liquid into the boiler. During the boiler shutdown period, the boiler should be dried off with a small fire.

3) Dry maintenance method. If the boiler needs to be shut down for a long time, it should take the dry maintenance measure to drain the water, clean the boiler fouling and put the appropriate amount of desiccant into the boiler to absorb the humidity. It should be noticed that the desiccant can not directly touch the heating surface of the boiler and the condition of desiccant should be checked regularly to avoid boiler corrosion problem.
