What is the maximum allowable concentration of CO in a gas-fired boiler?
In recent years, with the continuous development of new energy technology, China's energy utilization mode has changed from a single form in the past to various forms now. As a green fuel energy, natural gas is widely praised by all levels of society and widely developed and used. Therefore, gas-fired boilers have also become popular boiler equipment in contemporary society.
However, with the increasingly strict environmental protection policies of our country, it is also the top priority to reduce the emission pollution of gas-fired boilers. Boiler flue gas pollution includes nitrogen oxides NOx, carbon monoxide CO and so on.
According to the Hygienic Standard for Design of Industrial Enterprises GBZ1-2002, it stipulates that the maximum allowable CO concentration in the workshop is 30mg/m3, when the operation time is less than 30 minutes at a time, the allowable CO concentration can be relaxed to 100mg/m3, and when the operation time is 10 to 20 minutes, the maximum allowable CO concentration is 200mg/m3.

See You in Dhaka on April 29 | ZOZEN Boiler Confirms Participation in BTKG 2026 Bangladesh ranks among the world's major garment and textile producing and exporting countries. Its extensive textile and dyeing industry maintains a consistent, concrete demand for stable and efficient industrial heat sources. From April 29 to May 2, 2026, the Bangladesh International Textile, Knitting & Garment Industry Exhibition (BTKG 2026) will be held at the ICCB International Convention City Bashundhara i...21 Apr 2026 -
In Pakistan, garment manufacturing and fabric processing remain important parts of industrial production. For these factories, steam is not an auxiliary utility but a core part of the production chain. Processes such as dyeing, drying, heat setting, and finishing all require a stable and continuous steam supply. Any fluctuation in steam output may affect production rhythm. Against this background, more textile companies in Pakistan are paying closer attention to fuel adaptability, operating sta...14 Apr 2026 -
Mongolia's industrial sector has been expanding steadily. Demand for reliable heat supply is growing — particularly in food and beverage manufacturing and urban district heating. Coal is the dominant industrial fuel. The continental climate means heating systems run for long periods each year. At the same time, factories are raising their standards for steam quality, equipment uptime, and emissions compliance. These factors together make boiler selection a more demanding process than it us...07 Apr 2026
