What is the standard steam of industrial boiler?

The quality of steam directly affects the production capacity and production cost of enterprises, and improving the quality of steam is an important foundation to maintain the safe and economic operation of thermal equipment. Excessive impurities in the steam will cause salt deposition on the superheater heating surface, steam pipes and other places, which will affect the heat energy transfer and even overheat locally. The standard steam of the boiler refers to the steam obtained by controlling the pressure and flow rate of the boiler strictly according to the process index. In terms of steam types, there are saturated steam and superheated steam, and there are three kinds of steam: low pressure, medium pressure and high pressure.

The standard steam quality of the boiler is mainly reflected in the cleanliness, purity and thermal efficiency of the steam. The steam composition of the boiler can be controlled within a reasonable range by the following ways.

1. Steam boiler blowdown is divided into regular blowdown and continuous blowdown. Regular blowdown can eliminate water slag and sediment in boiler water, and continuous blowdown can reduce the salt content of boiler water.

2. Control the discharge rate. Generally, the principle of "frequent discharge, less discharge and even discharge" should be followed, or "ash remover" can be properly used to clean the boiler.

3. Perfect water treatment facilities and water quality testing can prevent boiler scaling to a great extent and correctly guide sewage discharge.

4. In order to reduce the water entrainment of saturated steam, establish good steam-water separation conditions and adopt perfect steam-water separation devices.

5. Follow the technical standards, strictly control the normal water level of the steam boiler, and prevent the steam from carrying water due to the high water level, thus causing the deterioration of steam quality.

6. The operating load of the steam boiler shall comply with the relevant regulations, and be adjusted according to the rated evaporation capacity of the steam boiler to avoid long-term overload operation of the boiler.
