The water in the pot (drum) is continuously heated by the energy released by the combustion of gas fuel in the furnace, then the water temperature rises and pressurized steam generates. Because the boiling point of water rises with the increase of pressure and the pot is sealed, the expansion of steam inside is restricted, which results in the generation of pressure and the formation of thermal power (strictly speaking, the steam in the boiler is formed by the water which is heated with pressure to be saturated water which is further vaporized) as a kind of energy used widely.
