How to choose once-through boiler and horizontal boiler?

Horizontal boiler and once-through boiler are two common steam boiler products in the market, which are used by Jialong Group, a leading agricultural enterprise, and have obtained diametrically opposite user experience.

Jialong Group, founded in 2000, is an integrated agricultural industrialization group company, which has developed into a national key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization.

In July 2019, Jialong built a new gas-fired boiler room according to the production process and winter heating demand. Jialong purchased two vertical once-through boilers, LSS2-1.0-Y.Q and LSS4-1.6-Y.Q.

The temperature of the soft water tank of the 4-ton LSS boiler is 40 ℃, the actual exhaust gas temperature exceeds 100 ℃, and the comprehensive gas consumption per hour is 318 cubic meters. Although the start-up time of LSS boiler is about 7 minutes, every time the steam header valve is opened to supply steam, the steam pressure will drop suddenly, and the steam pressure and temperature required by the workshop can't be met, and the steam supply can't be continuous and stable, so the steam volume can't meet the demand of the production line running at full capacity.

The winter in the north China is extremely cold, starting both boilers can meet the steam demand of the production line and the heating demand of the factory area. In February, 2021, a 4-ton LSS boiler suddenly burst and leaked, which was only one and a half years before the boiler was put into operation. As there was no spare boiler, the tube burst could only be temporarily blocked with refractory cement, and it could only be used reluctantly. Until June of the same year, the once-through boiler could not be repaired, so it had to be scrapped and dismantled.

The user decided to buy a new 4-ton gas-fired steam boiler. After on-site inspection of other users' boiler rooms, the user finally signed a gas-fired boiler purchase and installation contract with ZOZEN Boiler.

After the boiler was replaced, the feedback from the operator showed that ZOZEN gas-steam boiler could supply steam continuously and stably, which could meet the production process requirements well. Moreover, the pressure-starting time of the boiler exceeds the expectation, and the pressure-starting time of the first cooling furnace is about 30 minutes. However, due to the large volume of the boiler and the good heat preservation effect, the pressure-starting time of the second time is greatly shortened, only taking 5-6 minutes.

ZOZEN uses flue gas waste heat recovery technology to effectively reduce the exhaust temperature of the boiler to 73℃ and further improves the thermal efficiency of the boiler. After measurement, the comprehensive gas consumption of ZOZEN gas-fired steam boiler is 282 cubic meters per hour, which is about 12% lower than that of the original boiler.

Thanks to its excellent performance advantages and quality assurance, ZOZEN won the praise of the chairman of Jialong, and the chairman declared that all the "coal to gas" projects under the group company only use ZOZEN gas boiler products.

In May this year, Jialong purchased another ZOZEN gas-fired steam boiler to replace the existing 2-ton tubular boiler. It is expected that the brand-new boiler will be installed in September. Up to now, Jialong Group has successively purchased 6 ZOZEN gas-fired steam boilers.
