Shijiazhuang Huamei Paper Co., Ltd. is a traditional company which produces cardboard. The company has advanced paper making equipment, with an annual output of 60,000 tons of cardboard. The production process of cardboard requires a large amount of steam, before, the customer used a set of 20-ton biomass-fired boiler to provide heat energy for the production line.

However, the new emission standard of air pollutants in Hebei Province clearly requires that the emission limit of biomass boilers of 20 tons and above is 10mg /Nm³of particulate matter, 30mg /Nm³of sulfur dioxide and 80mg /Nm³of nitrogen oxides. The biomass boiler is unable to meet the environmental policy, which means the boiler transformation is imminent.
