15 million kcal YLW series coal-fired chain grate thermal oil heater project for the pharmaceutical industry

Hubei Grand Life Science and Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 1995 and formerly known as Huanggang Fuchi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grandpharma (China) Co., Ltd.. The company mainly produces raw material medicine taurine, food additive taurine and feed additive taurine with an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons of taurine, which is at the forefront of the industry. Hubei Grand adopts the taurine production process using ethylene oxide as the initial raw material, which requires a sufficient and stable heat source supply provided by the boiler equipment with high requirements.

In order to better meet the heat source demand of the taurine production line, Hubei Grand finally chose ZOZEN's YLW series coal-fired horizontal thermal oil heater. ZOZEN's YLW series thermal oil heater adopts chain grate design to realize mechanical coal feeding, forced and induced draft fans to realize mechanical ventilation, and slag discharger to realize mechanical slagging. These reasonable designs effectively improve boiler's working efficiency. Currently, ZOZEN's YLW series coal-fired horizontal thermal oil heater is operating stably at Hubei Grand to provide a sustainable and stable heat source supply for its taurine production line, which effectively reduces the production costs and improve the economic benefits of Hubei Grand.
