What are the functions of air supply system parts of the burner of gas-fired boiler?
Boiler produces heat via fuel combustion, so the burner is one of the important parts of boiler. And the air supply system is also an important component of burner. Whether the burner works well largely depends on its air supply system.
The air supply system can provide the air with certain air speed and volume for boiler's combustion chamber. Its main parts include shell, blower motor, blower impeller, blower gun fire tube, damper controller, air damper, diffusion plate and so on. Every part has its own function.
The shell is the installation bracket of burner's parts and is also the main component of air inlet channel, which plays a very significant role. The blower motor can provide power for the operation of blower impeller and high pressure oil pump to ensure the burner can work well.
The high-speed rotation of blower impeller can generate enough air pressure which can overcome the resistance of furnace and chimney and blow enough air to combustion chamber to satisfy the combustion demands. The blower gun fire tube can guide the airflow and stabilize the air pressure and it also can function as the component of air inlet channel.
The controller is a kind of driving device in burner's air supply system used to keep the air volume stable via the rotation of air damper through mechanical connecting rod. The diffusion plate has special structure, so it also can generate rotating airflow and help the air and fuel mix well.
It can be seen that all the parts in the air supply system work for the normal operation of burner in order to further improve the thermal efficiency of boiler system.
