ZOZEN biomass-fired boilers supported General Science to build new plants in Thailand

A steam boiler is an important equipment in rubber industry, proving adequate steam support for multiple production processes including drying, profiling and vulcanizing; the performance of the steam boiler has an direct impact on the quality of the complete production line. It is predicted that the new plant in Thailand would increase the annual production with 1 million all-steel radial tires and 6 millions steel-belted radial tires. Therefore, General Science attached great importance to the comprehensive strength and product performance of the boiler supplier.

ZOZEN learnt about that the company decided to use palm shell biomass particles as fuel due to the high fuel cost, so the sales manager of ZOZEN customized a comprehensive boiler solution for the company. The ZOZEN biomass-fired boiler has optimized the design of the feeding hopper, the length and width of the fire grate, rotary speed of gearbox, primary and second air ratio etc. according to the kinds of fuels. The above features ensure the sufficient output, high thermal efficiency and stable operation of the boiler. Due to the high volatilization and low ash content of the palm shell biomass particles, the fire grate that has no ash coverage is susceptible to high temperature radiation after combustion; hence, ZOZEN chose the heat resisting grate bars to adapt to the combustion characteristics of the palm shell, which would effectively improve the reliability of the boiler.
To save customer’s money and time to the most extent, ZOZEN also tailored the slagging system, tail flue gas treatment system and layout plan of boiler room for the company.
