Coal-to-Gas Project of 6 Tons Gas-fired Boiler in Rubber Industry

I. Customer Demand:

The customer company is mainly engaged in the production and sales of auto tires. The customer company wishes to:

1. Convert the coal-fired boiler to natural-gas-fired boiler through technical transformation, eliminate the demand of coal.

2. The boiler is required to meet the energy demand of the plant and reduce the operation cost.

3. According to the local air pollution prevention and control standards, the concentration of nitrogen oxides should be controlled below 30mg/m³ to realize clean energy production.

II. Solutions:

ZOZEN Boiler provided the customer with 3 sets of SZS series natural-gas-fired steam boilers.

1. This type of steam boiler adopts large-volume furnace, which is more conducive to the full combustion of fuel. Through the application of new condensation technology, the flue gas dust is fully absorbed, the inlet water temperature of the boiler is increased, and the exhaust gas temperature is reduced, so that the thermal efficiency of the boiler is increased to more than 98%, thus saving the operation cost.

2. Also, the series of boilers are equipped with energy-saving low-nitrogen burner, and the air-fuel ratio can be automatically adjusted by the air distribution, so as to achieve a good combustion state and realize the expected goal of reducing the NOx concentration in flue gas.

III. Results:

1. After the completion of the project transformation, clean energy natural gas is used to replace the original fuel coal. It reduced the use of raw coal by 49000 tons per year, and realized the steam output capacity of 18t/h, which fully ensured the stable heating of the production.

2. The concentration of NOx is controlled below 30mg/m³, which meets the environmental protection requirements.
